king of jungle in cage.....

Yesterday on Earth day i got motivated and thought of writing something for someone who can't speak for himself .......

As we all are concerned about the decreasing population of tigers in the wild. You can see a lot of advertisements on this cause specially those in wild but nobody is trying to put light on those few who have been caged and waiting for their death. China has many Tiger Farms where they raise tigers for slaughtering and selling their bones and skin. Their is an estimate that around 6500 tigers are being raised in few of the farms spread in a lot of Asian countries like China and Thailand.

There is a robust market for Tiger's bones, traditionally healing qualities and tiger skin. Bottles shaped as a tiger of wine made of tiger bones considered "Bone strengthening" costs around 130$ is sold openly in China. Illegal trade of tiger bones is banned all over the world but still poachers are hunting these innocent animals. Cost of one tiger is worth 1.5 million Yuan which is a big money and people risk their life. Indian govt has pressurized Chinese govt to shut these slaughter houses as they think its the major reason for tiger poaching in India. On which Chinese govt blame Indian authorities for loopholes.

As you can see the brutalities done on these helpless creatures. Two tigers can't stay together in wild but are made to stay in the same small cage. As a result they injure each other. Sitting in small cages all of them are waiting for "the execution day". 3200 tigers are roaming and hiding from poachers in diminishing forests around the world. As an Indian i don't want my National animal get extinct. Lets all step up and try our best to aware everyone around us. Lets hope tigers will roam again in the jungle as they used to in the past and these last 3200 hearts beat for a really long time ......
